L’Atelier Paul Ciholas

Paul Ciholas transforms wood into works of art. His passion for woodworking began as a hobby and became a fascinating search for that special piece of wood that could give expression to his design. Working with his hands provided a satisfying balance to his work as professor, theologian, and writer. Paul made most of our furniture and built two houses.

Theodoric Legends

ted-eye-fix

As professor of philosophy at Mercer University for over forty years, Theodore Nordenhaug was well known for his probing teaching, his Socratic questioning, his curmudgeon patriotism, and his pithy critiques of the foibles of society. He pushed his students to ask the big questions in life. What are our moral obligations to others? To future generations? What does social justice require of us? What is human happiness? What is a good life?
